PUBLIC NOTICE

 

USE OF PESTICIDE

 

The City of Brockville intends to control herbaceous broadleaf and grassy weeds that have grown in the hard surface areas (i.e. roadways/curbing/sidewalks and pavement or interlocking paving stone boulevards) on the following roadways:

 

Apple St., Bartholomew St., Broad St., Brock St., Buell St., Cedar St., Central Ave., Court House Ave., Elm St, First Ave., Front Ave., George St., Halliday St., Hartley St., Havelock St., James St., Jessie St., John St., King St., Market St. E., Market St., W., Magedoma Blvd., Millwood Ave., North Augusta Rd., Oak St., Park St., Parkedale Ave., Pearl St., Reynolds Dr., Sophia St., Stewart Blvd., Wall St., Water St. and William St.

 

The following pesticide will be used:

 

• EcoClear (acetic acid) Registration # 25528 under the Pest Control Products Act (Canada)

 

Initial application will commence July 5, 2010, weather permitting, and end July 30, 2010.
