Goings on - what's happening at the Brockville Museum:
New museum exhibit at the Brockville Library September 2012 "The Art of Ceramic Painting". On display is a collection of handpainted china, the work of two sisters, Jessie K. Davis and Beatrice Maude Davis Locke, whose family owned and operated a dry goods store on King St. from 1876-1918.

Tuesday, September 11 - Long Sault Boat Tour: Enjoy a boat tour through the historic International Rapids section of the St. Lawrence Seaway! After taking a bus to Morrisburg you will join Sea Fox II for a fascinating trip past the sites of some of the Lost Villages. Pass through the mammoth Eisenhower and Snell Locks, both of which have a lift of over 40’, sail under the Cornwall International Bridge before arriving in Cornwall for the return trip to Brockville. A delicious hot and cold lunch consisting of soup, sandwiches, salad, dessert, tea and coffee will be served on board! Departure time from Brockville 11 a.m., returning to Brockville approximately 6:30 p.m. Only $90 for museum members / $95 for non-members.
