Where can I find information about the City's synthetic ice pad?

Rotary Park, just west of the downtown core at King St. W. and Gilmour St., is home to the City’s synthetic ice pad. From October to April the splash pad is converted to a synthetic ice skating rink. This area is dedicated to skating only, hockey is not permitted.

A natural ice hockey pad, open daily (weather/conditions permitting) mid January to early March, is located in Rotary Park. This area is dedicated to hockey.

The Rotary Club of Brockville is currently fundraising to convert the natural ice hockey rink at Rotary Park to synthetic ice by fall 2013. With the fluctuating temperatures and rain that Brockville has experienced over the last number of years, a synthetic ice hockey rink would allow hockey players to enjoy their sport from October to March. In April, this area is converted to a skatepark.
